Job Title: Sr Banking Mainframe Cobol Developers

Job Location: Birmingham AL 36104 100% Remote

Onsite Requirements:
  • Cobol / Mainframe programming
  • ACH PEP+
  • Deposits / Payment Systems

Job Description:
  • Sr level Mainframe/Cobol developers with at least 5 yrs.
  • Supporting Banking 'Payments systems/applications', all payments systems integrate and interface to the core Banking Deposits applications.
  • Experienced with these retail Banking payments processing systems.
  • These areas' requirements can be spread across our developers, meaning 1 person may not have all areas/systems.
    • (ACH PEP+)
    • MTS Wire Interface to Mainframe)
    • IBM FTM Check interface to Mainframe)
  • Type of Payments project and support work for client R2, R2 code name for new core deposits modernization transformation project, 3-4 years in duration.
  • Work involves continued system daily support across these areas, new releases possible with ACH PEP+ system, reverse engineering, analyzing code and features, developing/integrating to the new core deposits banking platform
  • Soft Skills: self-starters, assertive, strong comm skills.
